Volusia County water resources fact sheet
available
The LEC "From the River to the Sea" will focus on Volusia County's water resources and include information on the county's geology, water use, water quality, and Floridan aquifer springs.

The U.S. Geological Survey has released the first of three educational fact sheets that educate the public about Volusia County's water resources. The three fact sheets are used by the LEC for displays and presentations and distributed to visitors. The topics for these fact sheets are "Blue Springs," "Water Budget/Cycle of Volusia County" and "The Geologic Time Scale."

The first brochure, "Volusia Blue Springs - A Hydrological Treasure," provides some great information on Blue Spring and how springs work in general.
